Cellist JooYeon CHOI gave her debut recital when she was 13 years old at the Kumho Art Hall, following successful prodigy Kumho audition. She performed as soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne, Seoul Symphony Orchestra, Royal Symphony Orchestra and Hamburg Festival Orchestra. She appeared many times with Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and L'ensemble Intercontemporain, and was frequently invited to give recitals and concerts by UNESCO in Paris, Monsieur Haydn Festival, Musée de la Marine in Paris, Les Invalides in Paris, Laeistzhalle in Hamburg, Seoul Art Center, Salle Pleyel, Cité Universtaire and Cité de la musique. She obtained Licence and Master's degree in the class of Philippe Muller at the National Conservatory of Paris(Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris/CNSMDP). She was the youngest artist admitted to the Professional Performer Diploma(Konzertexamen) at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in the class of Arto Noras. She recorded CD 'Cello Sonatas' by DUX label in 2016. She was Assistant Principal Solo Cellist in Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra. She is invited as 1st cello solo in Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra and teaching in Hanse University.
